We’re pleased to have taken on quite a lot of new clients in last six months. One of the customers is from French. This customer has created innovative rotomolded polyethylene lamps characterized by waterproof, cordless, portable designs. Their products have vibrant colors of lighting and variable lighting effects.

Made from durable polyethlene and engineered to be water resistant (IP44 rated) by means of rotational molding technology, those lamps are specially designed and approved for both indoor and outdoor use. Many of them can even float in water. Polyethylene is the most widely-used plastic which can be tailored with UV-resistance. Its density is lower than that of water, easily moldable, and has good resistance to shock and chemicals. Polyethylene is a type of sustainable material, 100% recyclable.

Rotational molding is an ideal process for creating innovative polyethylene lamp in any shape and size, ranging from small to oversize, from simple shape to asymmetric geometry. The wall thickness is unform, making the light emitting evenly. The size is precisely controlled. Being one-piece construction, the seamless lamps have good airtightness, and light is not affected by shadows or seams. The tooling cost is considerately low in comparison to the tooling of injection molding and blow molding.

The customer is very satisfied with samples we made, and we are now straight into full production.
