Benefits of rotomolding

The process of rotomolding, also known as rotational molding, is ideal for making hollow product. It allows for a range of shapes, designs and products. Molded as a single piece construction, roto-molded products have a uniform wall thickness with fewer stress points making them very structurally sound with excellent load-bearing properties. Molds costs are relatively inexpensive in comparison with injection and blow moulding. For example, injection moulding tools can cost up to 10 times of a rotomolding tool.  The thickness of rotational moulding products can be adjusted without mold modification. Molded-in threaded inserts and a variety of different surface finishes, textures, logo ,graphic can be included into the tool and product.
