1. What are hollow plastic products?

Hollow plastic products are commonly seen in our daily life, for example, various containers include plastic tanks, cases, packaging containers, bins and trash cans. Other products such as the playground sldes, footballs, pipe, plastic bucket,  plastic planters. They vary in shape and size. They can be totally sealed, as wel as with openings.

2. What is rotomoulding?

Rotomoulding, short for rotational moulding, like the extrusion molding,injection moulding and blow molding, is a plastics moulding technology. In production, the mold is heated while it is rotated . It is also known as rotary molding

3. What the machinery is used in rotational moulding?

There are five main types of machinery used in roto moulding, carousel types, clamshell types, rock and roll types, vertical types and shuttle types.They can be a single -arm machine and multi-arm machine. With the help of a mechanical arm, the mould is rotating while being heated. The plastic melts graduallyt and distributes to the inner surface to the mould until it is completely melted. 4. What is rotational moulding tooling made from?

In the industry of roto moulding, roto moulding tooling normally is made from aluminum, steel sheet or stainless steel. There are 3 main types of way to make roto moulding tooling,  including fabricated tooling, cast Tooling,CNC machined tooling.

5. What is rotational moulding process?

Based on products predetermined formula,an amount of resin in the form of powder is placed into a hollow mould, which is generally made from sheet steel or aluminium.The mould is being heated while being rotated by the spindles. When the plastic power complete melts and adheres evenlty to the inner surface of the mould,it is moved to the cooling station. The part solidfies as the mould cools. The final product is a hollow plastic product.
