Roto Molding Formed Smart Robotics Housing

The smart robot has a multitude of electronic, metal and plastic sub assembly components which all had to fit together; so it was critical that the tight tolerances are met on this product. Through internet research, the client identified that roto molding is the ideal process for their product.

The team at Light Venus collaborated with client by starting from creating 3D modeling, assembly design, tooling design, tooling making, and to the final delivery.

Products are made from polyethylene protected from the hazardous UV Rays from the sun. Unlike metal,  and they do not rust and corrode easily.  Since the product is crafted from the roto molding process, the wall thickness is uniform and size precisely controlled. The inserts can be molded in to easy assembly for cost effective. Products have good airtight to protect various sensitive electrical and mechanical components.
